Archer to buy Boeing’s Wisk and two units for near 20% equity stake
Archer and Boeing will collaborate under a technology-sharing agreement that preserves Boeing’s access to Wisk’s autonomous-flight know-how for its commercial and defense programs as Boeing steps back from air-taxi plans. Boeing will receive Archer shares equal to a 19.75% stake before closing and the right to appoint a director; Archer gains access to Insitu, a defense business generating over $200M annually.
