Archer Aviation to Acquire Boeing’s Wisk, Insitu and SkyGrid
Archer Aviation will acquire Boeing’s Wisk Aero, Insitu and SkyGrid subsidiaries in a single deal. Boeing will receive an equity stake in Archer and a nominee board seat to stay connected to the autonomy work it funded. Wisk’s eVTOL platform and Insitu’s ScanEagle uncrewed reconnaissance aircraft are expected to feed nearly two million flight-hours of data into Archer’s ZEE AI model.
