Archer Aviation Acquires Wisk, SkyGrid and Insitu in Boeing Deal
Archer Aviation completes a five-year shift from lawsuit to acquisition, taking over Wisk Aero, along with Boeing-linked subsidiaries SkyGrid and drone maker Insitu, as part of a Boeing deal. The consolidation reflects pressure to find near-term revenue. Archer says it will keep its urban air-taxi mission while pursuing military contract opportunities as Joby also expands into defense.
