Aramco Considers Expanding Oil Export Capacity Amid Hormuz and Red Sea Disruptions
Saudi Aramco said it is reviewing options to expand oil export capacity after the Iran war disrupted routes through the Strait of Hormuz and Red Sea shipping risks from Houthi rebels threaten shipments. Since the war began, Aramco has diverted much of its exports to Yanbu, and CEO Amin Nasser said the firm is exploring ways to boost capacity, including potentially enlarging the east-west pipeline.
