Applied Materials Breaks Ground on Singapore Hub Expansion for 2030 Plan
Applied Materials held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its regional hub in Singapore as part of Singapore 2030, where it operates its largest factory outside the United States. The investment, described as hundreds of millions of dollars, is intended to support rising customer demand, while research with Singapore’s IME focuses on hybrid bonding and 3D chip integration. The site has grown to a workforce of more than 2,500.
