Apollo Hospitals signed an MoU with Chennai-based The ePlane Company to explore India’s first electric air ambulance network. The effort looks to integrate electric air ambulances and medical delivery drones with Apollo’s nationwide hospital and 1066 ambulance services to cut transport delays for trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies. Deployment of the e200X platform and Amber Wings drones will be assessed pending regulatory approvals and feasibility.
