Anta’s €1.5B Puma stake gets China antitrust approval
Chinese antitrust regulators granted unconditional approval for Anta Sports to acquire about 29.06% of PUMA SE through a €35 per-share purchase from Groupe Artémis. The clearance paves the way for the roughly €1.506 billion (about $1.7 billion) cross-border equity deal. Anta also reported first-half 2026 results with revenue up 12.9% and operating profit up 16.1%, driven by strong growth from its other brands portfolio.
