Ampol Profit Jumps to Record A$857.2m as Iran-War Refining Margins Rise
Ampol reported a more than nine-fold rise in earnings from its fuel and infrastructure segment and a 12% increase in convenience retail earnings. Underlying net profit after tax surged to a record A$857.2 million for the half year to June 30, and it declared an interim dividend of 185 cents per share after margins tripled to $28.26 per barrel following the start of the U.S. war with Iran.
