Amgen and AstraZeneca report Phase III Tezspire win in eosinophilic esophagitis
Amgen and AstraZeneca reported that tezepelumab met both co-primary and all key secondary endpoints in eosinophilic esophagitis, with statistically significant, clinically meaningful improvements versus placebo sustained through week 52. Improvements included endoscopic features, histologic severity, and total endoscopic remission. The antibody targets upstream TSLP in the inflammatory cascade rather than downstream IL-5/IL-13 mediators.
