American Tungsten & Antimony appointed Metso Finland Oy to perform a FEL1 concept study for an ammonium paratungstate production circuit at its Del Sol Refinery in Nevada. The work follows a conditional refinery acquisition and will define Phase 1 capacity of 2,500 tonnes per annum, with potential expansion to 5,000, alongside cost estimates for US critical-minerals funding programmes. Metso reported about €5.3 billion in 2025 sales and employs roughly 18,000 people across 50 countries.
