A fintech VC used an AI tool called Instinct with his American Express-owned Resy account to repeatedly check for reservations at 4 Charles Prime Rib. Resy flagged the activity as bot-like spam and temporarily shut down his account under its Terms of Service. After reviewing Instinct’s activity log and responding to Resy, the account was later reinstated.
