Amazon to expand drone delivery for lightweight packages to nearly 500 U.S. cities
Amazon plans to expand Prime Air drone delivery to nearly 500 U.S. cities, more than sixfold nationwide. Customers could get lightweight packages in as fast as 30 minutes, mainly flying in suburbs away from skyscrapers and major airports. Prime deliveries are free for orders over $50, while smaller orders cost $2.99; non-Prime fees depend on order size and delivery speed.
