Amazon plans to launch Prime Air drone delivery in Georgia later this year, starting from a fulfillment center in Stone Mountain. Service will cover about a 7-mile radius including parts of Redan, Lilburn, Snellville, Tucker, and Lithonia. Jeff Cleland, head of U.S. regulatory affairs for Prime Air, cites the area’s customer base and favorable year-round drone operating conditions.
