Amazon is expanding its northwest Louisiana data center project by adding a third campus at Resilient Technology Park in Shreveport, bringing planned investment in the region to $18 billion. The move is expected to create 210 direct jobs and 499 indirect jobs, totaling 709 potential positions, with up to 750 direct jobs across all campuses. The expansion follows a $12 billion announcement earlier this year and uses Louisiana’s data center sales and use tax exemption.
