Amazon announced Kevin Mandia, founder and former CEO of cybersecurity firm Mandiant, is joining its board, citing his experience countering cyber threats amid rising AI risks. Mandia helped found and sell Mandiant to Google for $5.4B in 2022 and left Google in 2024. The filing says he received 4,086 Amazon shares vesting over three years and notes his sister-in-law works for Amazon Quick.
