Amazon.com is adding eight robotics workstations at its JAX 2 fulfillment center near Jacksonville International Airport, with a reported project cost of $2.6 million. The upgrade uses an MDR bridge conveyor system to move packages between mezzanines and process areas inside a 857,470-square-foot building totaling about 2.3 million square feet. A city permit was issued for the addition.
