Alphabet’s SpaceX stake tops $94B after 100-fold rise since 2015
Alphabet disclosed it held 551.2 million SpaceX shares at end-June, worth about $94.2B at $170.86 per share, versus a $900M 2015 investment. After SpaceX’s June IPO, Alphabet emerged as the largest reported institutional holder. The disclosed position would be about $77.9B at Thursday’s price, still roughly 86.5x the original cost.
