Allianz Global Investors entered into an agreement to acquire UOB Asset Management, strengthening its Asia Pacific presence and expanding assets managed for clients in the region to more than EUR 170bn. The combined platform aims to deliver a market-leading investor experience across South-East Asia, add Sharia-compliant offerings, and leverage UOBAM’s local expertise alongside AllianzGI’s global product suite.
