Orlando Sanford International is Allegiant Air’s busiest Orlando airport, with 578 departing flights next month. Cirium data shows Allegiant will operate about nine new routes from Sanford in September versus the prior year, with overall September capacity up 8% and seat capacity up 8.1%, likely supported by Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 deliveries. Two last September Sanford routes are not returning, and additional new routes are slated for Fort Lauderdale.
