Alibaba unveiled Wan3.0, a new AI video-generation model that can turn documents, spreadsheets, slides and web pages into videos lasting up to 30 seconds. The release came a day after an HK$80 billion share placement to fund rising AI investment. Wan3.0 has been used beyond beta for short dramas, advertising and music videos, while AI Cloud and Compute Services revenue rose 45% year over year to about $7.1 billion.
