Alcon rolled out UNITY CS, its standalone cataract surgical system within the UNITY platform, in Canada. UNITY CS is dedicated to cataract surgery and uses a phacoemulsification modality engineered to remove nuclei up to two times faster with 40% less energy into the eye, aiming to improve surgical efficiency, consistency, and stability for vision-threatening conditions.
