Aker BP Starts Production From Skarv Satellites in Norwegian Sea
Aker BP has started production at the Skarv Satellite Project in the Norwegian Sea, bringing the Alve Nord, Idun Nord and Ørn fields online about a year ahead of schedule. The developments hold nearly 120 million barrels of oil equivalent in recoverable resources and are designed to boost flexibility and extend Skarv infrastructure life. Aker BP says procurement was largely domestic, supporting regional economic activity.
