Agreement ends Danone plastics case with Surfrider and Zero Waste France

After filing a plastics case in January 2023, Danone and its partners reached an agreement that ended the legal proceedings. A judge had ordered mediation in September 2023. Under the deal, Danone will update its vigilance plan for plastic-related risks, strengthen prevention and mitigation policies, publish its plastic footprint, and report on implementation measures.
