AeroVironment posted record fiscal 2027 first-quarter revenue of $480.5 million, up 6% year over year, and record funded backlog of $1.5 billion, up 37%. Revenue growth reflected higher product and service sales. Gross margin improved to 26% despite $18.5 million of intangible amortization and related non-cash purchase accounting costs, while the operating loss narrowed to $(10.9) million.
