AECOM was selected by Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) to lead design services for the Pure Water Silicon Valley Demonstration Facility in California, supporting direct potable reuse as a local drought-resilient drinking-water source. The design and planning may cost up to $100m and will cover a DPR pilot at the existing facility, with public education, community engagement and workforce development.
