Advent and Stripe End Talks to Buy PayPal After $50B Offer
A consortium involving Advent and payment company Stripe has decided to abandon its pursuit of PayPal Holdings. The group is no longer seeking a deal, after previously offering more than $50 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. The potential transaction was described as one of the biggest-ever leveraged buyouts.
