Adani Enterprises shares rise after Adani Airport unit signs $1B fundraising deal
Adani Enterprises shares climbed nearly 5% after Adani Airport Holdings entered a binding agreement to raise about 98.25 billion rupees (~$1B) through new share subscriptions. Investors including Alpha Wave Global, Premji Invest, Temasek and BlackRock valued the unit at about $18B pre-money and will take 5.54% after three tranches, subject to approvals through July 2027. The funding supports expansion of eight Indian airports and capacity for about 200 million passengers annually.
