ACWA Power’s Uzbekistan-focused unit signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Korea Western Power (KOWEPO) in Tashkent to evaluate potential renewable energy and energy storage projects, plus related infrastructure. The MoU calls for jointly identifying opportunities, initially in Uzbekistan, leveraging ACWA Power’s project development experience and KOWEPO’s regional expertise.
