ACM Allows PostNL Nearly 13% Rise in Basic Postal Rates for 2027

The Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) said PostNL can raise maximum rates for its basic postal services by almost 13% in 2027, the biggest increase in three years. The ceiling reflects delivery cost and inflation pressures and lower letter volumes. PostNL notes stamp prices can rise by less than the cap, while it seeks extra government funding and remains loss-making amid declining mail volumes.
