Accor and InterGlobe have agreed not to proceed with a proposed Treebo strategic partnership announced in April 2025, shifting instead toward acquisitions. The Competition Commission of India approved the merger of six hotel businesses, enabling Accor to accelerate rollout of Accor-branded hotels across India. Accor has about 75 hotels open and continues adding projects including Fairmont Rishikesh, with further Fairmont, Novotel, Pullman, and Grand Mercure openings planned from 2026–2027.
