ABB Wins Contract to Supply Power and Propulsion for Allseas’ Grand Tour

ABB secured a contract to supply an integrated power and propulsion package for the semi-submersible heavy transport vessel Grand Tour under construction by Guangzhou Shipyard International. Deliveries are planned for 2028, enabling Grand Tour to transport offshore converter stations across oceans and transfer them to Allseas’ Pioneering Spirit. ABB will provide four 3.5MW Azipod nozzled units for efficient, 360-degree maneuvering and thrust.
