ABB received an order from LKAB to supply medium- and low-voltage switchgear for a new sorting plant at its Malmberget iron ore operations in northern Sweden. The equipment will form the main power distribution infrastructure, enabling reliable, efficient and safe production, with room for future upgrades. It will integrate with LKAB’s ABB Ability System 800xA distributed control system.
