ABB Gets Type III EPD Certification for Six Industrial Sensors

ABB secured Type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification for six industrial sensors based on life cycle assessment studies, the first in its segment. The EPDs provide independently verified environmental performance data across the product life cycle. ABB also helped develop Complementary Product Category Rules for industrial sensors in 2025, supporting consistent sustainability reporting, procurement and regulatory compliance for customers and supply chains.
