3M and BOE opened the 3M and BOE Joint Laboratory at BOE’s Technology Innovation Center, extending a 20+ year display partnership. The exclusive R&D center combines BOE display innovation with 3M materials science to speed advances for LCD, OLED and MLED, including optical films, optically clear and structural adhesives, foldable displays, and ultra-narrow bezel processes. The launch showcased 15 exhibits and joint products, including mirror-like crease-free OLED tech and a 3D-printed bezel product entering mass production in 2026.
